Cam Newton and Carolina Panthers defeated in Super Bowl 50 by Denver Bronco defence

Cam Newton and his Carolina Panthers were defeated 24-10 by the defence of the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.  The many miscues, including interceptions, fumbles, overthrown passes, not to mention penalty yards were the name of the game tonight for the offensive units of both teams.

Watch HIGHLIGHTS of the game

Although Peyton Manning committed less errors on the field than his counterpart Newton, Von Miller was the hero of the game for the Broncos.  Miller was outstanding on the Broncos defence, shutting down the running and passing plays of Cam Newton time after time.

The win is a milestone for Peyton Manning, his second Super Bowl ring, and record breaking 200th NFL win, both a great way to end his football career.  If that is what he decides to do…

Halftime report for Super Bowl 50

Well, the first half of Super Bowl 50 was eventful, if not in the scoring, then in the mistakes and turnovers.  Two fumbles and several overthrown passes by the Carolina Panthers and one interception thrown by Peyton Manning is keeping the score close.  Both defensive squads are playing well keeping both quarterbacks from running up the points offensively.

The halftime show featuring Cold Play, Bruno Mars and Beyonce was awesome.  Chris Martin’s bouncy, bent-over antics, Bruno Mars’ unique voice and dancing skills, with Beyonce’s legs and booty blended together for a spectacular show including a salute to Super bowl halftime performers of the past…
