Summer solstice and a strawberry moon

It is currently our summer solstice, the longest days of the year where we experience the most daylight hours.  Last night we were also treated to a rare strawberry moon.  I snapped these pictures on my phone as we drove home from our cottage.  The sky got progressively darker and the moon progressively smaller, but brighter, as it flitted amongst the trees and wispy clouds…
