  3. Congratulations! If you haven’t made up your mind about which you want to be called, you might want to consider this. I went with ‘grandma’ because I was delighted to have finally reached that phase. ‘Granny’ isn’t much different, but it sounds older. My sister went with ‘Nana’ because she said it sounded younger. ‘Nanny’ sounds like the hired help. I have only one grandchild, but I’m one of his 6 grandmothers because of blended families!
