How hot is it in Eastern Ontario, Canada?

This picture of the temperature gauge on our BBQ at the cottage was taken yesterday late afternoon.  You can see the temperature reads well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, before the BBQ was turned on…

It was a great weekend to be at the lake!  Unfortunately, we are back to work today with the weather still very hot.

    1. ha ha, unfortunately needed to be a bit hotter to cook dinner. We try to use gas BBQ outside as much as possible so we don’t heat up the inside of the cottage using the stove/oven.

  1. That’s hot! I’m originally from southeastern Ontario (near Kingston) and I can only remember a handful of days that hit 100. I’m always glad to tell folks here in Virginia that, yes, it does get hot in the summer, and no, Canada is not a winter wasteland. Stay cool and enjoy the rest of the summer.
